Here is Barbara, the Mom, with Charles, the Son in his dorm room at Embry-Riddle University.
Charles is very happy that his mom came with him, bought a ton of stuff, and helped him settle in. However, Charles is still not ready for cuddly pictures and he is ready for Mom to go home.

Haha, that's really funny. Mom is so cute.
I thought of you while reading this - the opener of a T.S. Elliot poem. "Though hast nor youth nor age/ But as it were an after dinner sleep/ Dreaming of both." Hehe.
Oh my!! I didn't know he was going to Embry-Riddle! I thought that was where I wanted to go for a quite a while. I think I learned about it when I was in 7th grade and finally decided I didn't want to pursue that when I was a Junior or something...So funny how things change I guess.
Please tell Barbara hello for me. Sorry I didn't end up being able to come out the the park on Sunday. It was quite a busy week as you can imagine. We had a very nice visit, but I'm very glad to be back home now.
Congratulations on having all these great graduated kids. I saw Samuel at Paul's while I was in town.
Sorry for the rambling.
Vive,
I love rambling from a friend of the family, so thanks.
Barbara and I were just speaking of you this moring. I didn't realize you had moved to Nebraska. I imagine it will be a more family friendly environment than Long Beach, but God will help you wherever you go!
It would have been great to see you at the park last Sunday, but truthfully, there probably wouldn't have been many of the young people that you knew. They are mostly moved away just like you are. I saw lots of pictures of you and the gang when I was going through our picture files to prepare a presentation for our New Life Fellowship 25th anniversary celebration this Sunday. Barbara and I joined the church about 2 or 3 years after it was first founded.
Send me your e-mail address and I can reply less publicly :-)
